Former Head Coach Glen Padgett is a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School(1980) and Wofford College(1984). Coach Padgett returned to Concord in 2009 with an outstanding reputation as a classroom teacher and mentor.

Coach Padgett has served as a U.S. History teacher, Leadership and Student Council Advisor, and dropout prevention coordinator.
