Concord QB Dee Bost turned in another impressive performance as the Spiders rolled to a 29-17 victory Friday night at Robert C. Bailey Stadium.

Concord scored on their first possesion via a 6 yard Dee Bost pass to Lance Lewis. Chad Myers added a 27 yard field goal to put the Spiders ahead 10-0. The defenses would trade stops until just before halftime when Central added a field goal to bring the score to 10-3 at the half.

The Spiders took the second half kickoff and marched down the field. Bost completed passes to Jimmy Drye and Lance Lewis then Roger Smith finished it off with a 6 yard run.

Concord defensive back Reese Harris ended Central's next drive with an interception in Concord territory. After the turnover Dee bost hit a streaking Dustin Burris for a 55 yard touchdown.

Lance Lewis capped the scoring for Concord with a 55 yard touchdown after a short pass from Bost. Central Cabarrus added 14 points in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late for the Vikings who fall to 2-3.

Bost finished the night 15 for 21, good for 3 touchdowns and 284 yards passing.

Roger Smith Led the rushing attack for the Spiders with 114 yards on 20 carries.

The Concord defense turned in another strong performance led by Calvin Hillie's 13 tackles.
